We give you a commercial to score. We simulate the real composer/client relationship. We give you feedback and guidance to help you create your professional commercial score. We provide the inside scoop on how the industry really works, based on our 16+ years of experience. You aren't going to learn this in school and it's not free on the internet. Take a step toward writing your own future. In one week you'll learn more than you ever thought possible.
What You Will
1. How to create, revise, and deliver a professional commercial score.
2. The challenges and opportunities related to scoring commercials vs. films, video games and TV.
3. What to do with your bands' songs to help make them profitable.
4. The differences between music licensing, work-for-hire, and working at a music house vs. being freelance.
5. How to build upon the skills and experience you already have.
6. How to look for scoring jobs, what you need to do to get them, and how to make the most of the music you have already created.
These classes are intended for anyone who can write and record 30 seconds of music.

Q: Who was the class designed for?
A: This class was created for students, musicians, and composers - amateur and professional - who want to gain real experience scoring commercials. You do not have to be a professional to take this class. If you can make 30 seconds of music, you are in the right place.
Q: I'm already a professional composer, what will I learn?
A: We've had many seasoned film and television composers take the class in order to get a better understanding of how to break into the commercial scoring side of the business. Our testimonials say it's worked.
Q: I'm not quite a professional composer yet, is that ok?
A: Yes! You don't need expensive plugins or professional production experience to complete your assignments and get feedback. This class is for people with musical talent but little or no experience with scoring commercials. You DO NOT need to be able to read music.
Q: What are the tech requirements?
A: Access to the internet and a program to combine your music and the commercial video we give you. Programs like Ableton Live, Garageband, Logic, ProTools, Cubase, Digital Perfomer all allow you to score to picture.
Q: How much is it?
A: 750 dollars. That includes a week's worth of instruction, learning and feedback, a commercial to score, creative direction, helpful handouts in class, 3 workshops/lectures (3 hours each), plenty of Q&A, a career counseling session, and a certificate of completion.
Q: Is that expensive?
A: For the amount of time, knowledge, materials, guidance and the one-on-one attention you will receive from a top expert in the field, we feel it is appropriately priced.
Q: Can you guarantee my success after taking this class?
A: Of course not, but what we CAN guarantee is that after taking this class you will have a much deeper understanding of the music scoring industry. You'll be better equipped to create the kind of music that sells. You'll know what is expected of you and how to deliver it once you DO get that opportunity, and perhaps most importantly, we will help you identify concrete steps you can take toward the career you want. Guaranteed.
Q: What if I have follow-up questions after the workshop has ended?
A: Additional mentorship opportunities will be discussed in the final session.
